Lieut. Ronald Poulton Palmer (Royal Berks Regiment)

 

Yesterday evening, at twelve minutes past six, Professor & Mrs Poulton received a telegram at their home, Wykeham House in Banbury Road, Oxford. It contained the news we have all dreaded hearing:

 

‘Regret your son killed last night. Death instantaneous. Colonel Serocold.’
